Creating a Cozy Home for her Children

From the time she was 3 years old until she turned 21, Krystle Jackson lived in 13 different foster homes. So she was distraught when her own young children, Kayla and Isaiah, landed in foster care in 2012 when her daughter was seriously hurt while Ms. Jackson was at a job-training class. She fought hard to get her children back, working with New Alternatives for Children’s foster care program to meet the necessary requirements.
