The NAC Annual Holiday Party
Each year, NAC hosts our Annual Holiday Party, where our remarkable children and families can celebrate a year of accomplishments and even receive a special gift from Santa himself!
New Alternatives for Children holds its Annual Holiday Party at Chelsea Piers’ Pier 60 in December. Over 1,000 NAC children and family members attend the party, which is one of the largest holiday events in NYC for medically fragile children.
NAC’s children eagerly wait all year for this event. Not only is it a day filled with great food, music, fun activities and of course, Santa Claus with presents for the children and parents, but it is also a day when our families – both birth and foster – have the opportunity to come together and share in a festive celebration. The party is supported by over 100 volunteers and 1,000 special holiday gifts for NAC children are donated by The Esteé Lauder Companies, Polo Ralph Lauren, The Today Show and other companies. Bloomingdale’s donates all the “Big Brown Bags” which our families use to take home their gifts.
